Insert the drill into the hole in the head and after hearing the grinding sound move it one way or the other for 5 – 10 seconds, while pressing the drill with slight force to the grinding plate. Remove the drill from the head and then repeat the operation for the other edge of the drill blade. The edge closer to the outer edge of the head is always sharpened. The head holes have lugs limiting the rotation of the drill in the hole. This facilitates the sharpening process.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eAttention! \u003c\/b\u003e Each surface should be sharpened with the same amount of time and pressed with the same force. If the tip of the drill after sharpening takes on a blue or different color from the natural color of the steel, this means overheating of the surface and reduce the pressure of the drill to the grinding plate during sharpening.
