It does not work with cars that do not have CarPlay or Android Auto pre-built. If you have an older car – THIS DEVICE WILL NOT WORK.

Requirements for connection:

Apple CarPlay (for iPhone):

• iPhone must be iOS 10 or later.
• iPhone model: iPhone 5 or later.
• The car or radio must factory support wired CarPlay.
• Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone must be enabled.
• After the first pairing, the adapter connects automatically wirelessly.

Android Auto:

• Smartphone running Android 11 or later (or Android 9/10 with Android Auto app installed).
• The phone must support wireless Android Auto.
• The car/radio must support wired Android Auto.
• Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone must be enabled.

❌ Can iPhone connect to Android Auto or Android with CarPlay?

• No. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are independent of each other and are designed only for their ecosystems:
• iPhone only works with CarPlay.
• Android phone only works with Android Auto.

Note: This adapter does not support cross conversion. CarPlay cannot be converted to Android Auto and vice versa.

The CA505-T adapter allows you to use both systems, but only according to the type of phone – there is no "swap" option.

1 . Connect adapter

Place the adapter in the USB port in the car (the same one that was previously used for a wired connection).

2 . Pair your phone

iPhone:

Android:

• Turn on Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and location.
• Open the Android Auto app.
