PROFI CUT LARGE FORMAT TILE CUTTING STRIP

High-quality, complete set for cutting large format tiles, stoneware, quartz sinters. Cutter necessary for professional assembly of megaformats. Working with the strip is incomparably faster than with mechanical cutters, and also limits the possibility of uncontrolled damage to the workpiece.

The PROFI CUT strip is another extremely successful tool in the PROFI brand assortment for mounting large format tiles.

The massive trolley is equipped with four bearing rollers thanks to which the handling and cutting is stable, homogeneous and clean, which is crucial for the correct breaking of tiles.

The trolley is equipped with the possibility of one and two-handed cutting. The long handle supporting the cutting system gives the possibility of precise control of the pressure of the knife to the plate, which is important depending on the hardness and texture of the cut plate. The additional knob can be freely dismantled.

The cutting unit is equipped with three interchangeable knives. The set is designed so that the choice of knife can be made without the use of tools. Thanks to this, you can quickly and easily use the right cutting wheel depending on what tile you are cutting.

The cutter consists of three independent aluminium profiles. Two profiles with a length of 150 cm and one with a length of 80cm give the possibility of many configurations and adjusting the length of the cutter to the machined tiles. The total cutting length is 380 cm.

The cutter is equipped with a very large number of suction cups. Longer profiles are equipped with four and shorter profiles with three suction cups. In total, this gives as many as 11 suction cups. This is extremely important because it allows you to stabilize the strip during cutting, and thus avoid driving the trolley "on the arch" and minimize the risk of damage to the treated plate.

The whole is complemented by a strong two-function breaker. The screw clamp allows you to exert a larger, constant force on the broken plate when you want to use less force for more delicate tiles, you can clamp the breaker lever manually.
