Subwoofer installation instructions

Subwoofer Beast™ BassWheel is an active model that is mounted in place of the spare wheel. The built-in amplifier allows for quick connection and comfortable operation – even in cars with factory radio.

1. Power supply (plus, minus, remote)

Cable +12V (red) – connect it to the positive pole of the battery (preferably via a 25A fuse).

Mass cable (black) – attach to a metal, unpainted body element (e.g. body screw).

REM cable (blue):

• If you use radio with RCA (low-level) output – connect the REM cable to the REM output on the radio (or to the antenna output – marked “ANT”).
• If you are using the high-level input (description below) – this cable is not needed. The subwoofer will start on its own when it detects a signal from the speakers.

2. Sound signal – two connection options

A) Connection via RCA (low-level) – recommended:

• Connect RCA cables to the preamplifier output (rear radio).
• The signal will be cleaner and better quality.
• In this mode, a REM cable connection is required.

B) Connection via high-level input – when the radio does not have RCA:

• Connect directly to the rear speaker cables (plus and minus on both sides).
• The subwoofer will detect the signal itself and turn on automatically – without the need for a REM cable.

3. Sound control and settings (using knobs)

They are located on the subwoofer housing or on the RTC SW wired remote control:

• GAIN – volume control of the input signal.
• BASS BOOST – strengthens low tones (bass).
• LOW PASS FILTER – sets the frequency limit above which the sound is not played (i.e. only bass)
• PHASE (0° / 180°) – change the phase of the signal, useful if the bass “fades” or is too weak – change the setting and see what sounds better.
