A microprocessor charger is a device that allows you to charge various types of lead-acid batteries. The rectifier converts the current and voltage present in the power grid into those that allow you to safely charge the battery. Zx.xA rectifiers allow you to charge all types of lead-acid batteries STD, AGM, GEL (-20℃-+40℃).

Both gel batteries (GEL) and AGM batteries are developed versions of lead-acid batteries. In the case of GEL batteries, we are dealing with a gel form of electrolyte, obtained after mixing sulfuric acid with silica.
AGM batteries are batteries based on glass mat technology, which absorb liquid electrolyte.
They allow charging of the 12 V battery even with a voltage drop of up to 8 V (or 3 V for the 6 V battery).
They have protection against: reverse polarity, overheat, turn, low voltage and overload. Their important advantage is the possibility of work in backup mode – maintenance charging, which extends the life of the battery not used for a long time (e.g. motorcycle in winter).

The rectifier automatically detects the temperature difference in the range -20°C to 40°C and enters the appropriate mode:
- Above 25°C - switches to summer mode.
- Under 10°C - goes into winter mode. The display will display the appropriate icon, informing about the current temperature, and the rectifier will adjust its operation to best charge the connected device.
