Calibration of breathalyzers is carried out on exhaust simulators of the renowned American company GUTH LABORATORIES, INC., using certified reference standards.

The device used for private purposes (consumer purchase) is calibrated free of charge and without limit, within a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

The device uses an electrochemical sensor from a renowned British manufacturer (the same one used in police analyzers), which reacts only to alcohol molecules, thanks to which it is not possible to falsify the measurement result by other factors or substances.

The measurement results are displayed in the range from 0.000 to 6.300‰ with a resolution of indications up to three decimal places. Mark V+ has a system to protect the measuring cell from damage as a result of improperly conducted test, a system to control the correct operation of the analyzer before and after each measurement, a built-in real-time clock and measurement memory – solutions used in evidential exhaust analyzers.

Measurement can be carried out in automatic or manual mode. Manual test mode allows you to examine people who have problems with blowing the right dose of air, e.g. elderly, unconscious or children.

A maximum of 10.000 measurement results can be stored in the tester’s memory with the date, the time of their execution and the selected measurement mode. This information can be displayed on the tester screen or printed when a printer is connected to the device. An additional advantage of the device is the ability to define analyzer settings (m.in. measurement units, exhaust force and time, information on the printout, number of printed copies, etc. ) according to the user's requirements.
