Calibration of breathalyzers is carried out on exhaust simulators of the renowned American company GUTH LABORATORIES, INC., using certified reference standards.

The device used for private purposes (consumer purchase) is calibrated free of charge and without limit, within a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

The device uses an electrochemical sensor from a renowned British manufacturer (the same one used in police analyzers), which reacts only to alcohol molecules, thanks to which it is not possible to falsify the measurement result by other factors or substances.

The test can be performed in one of two measurement modes: full (accurate) and shortened (fast).

Abbreviated measurement mode is used in situations where accurate knowledge of alcohol concentration is not required, but only information about whether the test person is under its influence and when a large number of measurements should be carried out in a short period of time (e.g. with "mass" control of employees, participants of sports events, discos, schools, prisons, military units, etc. ). In shortened mode, a special funnel cap is used instead of the traditional mouthpiece. During the inspection, there is no contact of the test person's mouth with the cap, so it can be used repeatedly. Thanks to this solution, you can not only reduce the test time, but also reduce the costs associated with the use of disposable mouthpieces.

AlcoVisor® Mark X Plus has a system to protect the measuring cell from damage as a result of improperly conducted test, a system to control the correct operation of the analyzer before and after each measurement, a built-in real-time clock and measurement memory. In the tester’s memory, you can save up to 10.000 results with the date, time of their execution and the selected measurement mode. This information can be displayed on the tester screen or printed when the printer is connected to the device.

An additional advantage of the device is the ability to define the settings of the analyzer (m.in. measurement units, exhaust force and time, print information, number of copies, etc. ) according to the user's requirements. The device can be powered from 4 alkaline batteries 1,5V type AAA, from a car cigarette lighter socket or via an AC adapter.
