If you are looking for a camera that combines minimalist design with uncompromising functionality, the Kodak EC35 w is the perfect choice.

This is a point camera that is characterized by simplicity of operation – you do not need to know advanced exposure or complicated settings to get satisfactory results.

The mechanical optics cover acts as a traditional box with a buckle: you move it and the camera is ready to be shot. You move it back and the lens is protected. This design eliminates the risk of accidental exposure in the bag and gives the photographer a sense of control over the process.

The 25 mm focal length and F10 fixed aperture is made of high-quality optical acrylic, which provides very good distribution parameters in this price class. The fixed focal length forces photographs to consciously compose the frame, which in retrospect is the best school of the eye. The shutter speed set rigidly to 1/100 s is a technological compromise, which in practice works great in conditions of daylight, and in situations of low light it is supported by built-in flash. The whole is driven by a mechanical system that requires manual scrolling of the film after each shot and winding the roll at the end. This form of work slows down the process, but at the same time forces reflection on each frame, which is the essence of analogue photography.
