WHY DO WE TEST THE PRODUCT IN A POLISH LABORATORY?

During the long transport and storage process, the equipment may be decalibrated, and only the examination of each piece in the carbon monoxide chamber allows to detect such deficiencies.

The test is carried out in a special chamber for the operation of an optical and acoustic alarm caused by the presence of carbon monoxide in the atmosphere. The alarm was activated in less than 3 minutes at a measurement concentration of 300 p.p.m. (the number of carbon monoxide molecules in 1 million air molecules).

The test process ends with the granting of a certificate containing information about a given copy of the checked device.

1. Dead zone is a space that occurs in every room. Its range covers an area far away approx. 20 cm from the ceiling. Due to lack of air movements, their negligible or too intense occurrence (e.g. in the case of proximity to ventilation grilles). Do not install carbon monoxide sensors in the dead zone!

BASIC PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION OF CARBON MONOXIDE SENSORS

Devices should not be installed:

• near places where there is a lot of air movement (ventilation grilles, fans, doors, windows, etc. ),
• in rooms with high air humidity (see technical specification of the device),
• in places where the temperature exceeds the permitted values for the proper operation of the device (see the technical specification of the device), e.g. The temperature in close proximity to the heated tiled furnace may exceed 50 ° C, the installation of the sensor in such conditions causes damage to the sensor and malfunction of the device.
• in the so-called. "dead zones" (upper part of the ceiling, at the top of the roof, etc. ),
• in places where it will be obscured by any obstacle, in the form of a cabinet, bookcase, etc.,
• near aerosol air fresheners,
• in places where the beacon sensor will be excessively exposed to moisture, dust, dirt, grease, household chemicals (e.g. directly above the stove, sink, etc. ).
