Additional technical aspects

1. Antenna - The design has a Screen. If there is a screen for such an antenna it will be stronger than any other antenna that does not have a screen. and additionally the screen separates unwanted interference coming from the back of the antenna. The SpaceX W1F room antenna is not a bunch of rods, nicely packaged and put up for sale. It has "active" 2 dipoles. Each element has its very important role here. You may mistakenly associate the appearance with the first better product, but these are only appearances.

The antenna is a great atmospheric protection hence such a long warranty.

2. Amplifier - is in a Metal housing. It shields the interference of the TV signal. Disruptions are everywhere and there are many. Most of the disruption is from the internet. Yes. specifically from damaged or confused WiFi routers. Other interferences are LTE transmitters - if they work according to factory settings then there is no problem. But most often, in order for the Internet to be fast, local LTE transmitters are released with more than permissible power and they strongly interfere with the dvb-t2 terrestrial TV band.

The power supply is much more powerful than ordinary power supplies available in popular stores. But why? It's not really stronger. It's correct. It is properly built and ordinary popular power supplies have recent years of very poor quality current stabilizing system and thus simply negatively affect the operation of television.

6. Resistance of the antenna to high voltage in the network. Many photovoltaic installations cause very high voltage on sunny days. Even reaching up to 253V. It has a very negative effect on all devices that are manufactured on standard 230V. This is manifested by faster wear of equipment. Some power supplies have such poor resistance that the service life is shortened 10 times.

3 Requirements to Receive TV from Room Antenna You Must Meet

1. Antenna (each antenna and especially room antenna) must be directed towards the transmitter. If it is not in the window / on the wall that directly faces the transmitter, it may not be possible to receive television.
2. You need to be within range of the transmitter. Davbol TV room antennas are in the strongest specification - works with the highest permissible power - outside they operate up to the last kilometer of transmitter range in open space if there are no obscuring buildings or mountains along the way. So the Top parameters and yet in many places the antenna will not work. Why? TV signal propagates very differently in space and hiding each antenna in the apartment, its efficiency decreases by up to 90%. This is the case with every antenna. Outside, the efficiency is many times greater. Therefore, buying an antenna in this store can be tested in a specific location after receiving it from the courier.

   If the distance from the DVB-T2 transmitter (on average) is above half the range of the transmitter above 50%, then an active antenna with an amplifier should be used.

3. Last requirement :-) have a TV with a new DVB-T2 system or an additional Dvb-T2 tuner - must have HEVC h.265 extensions (if you have h.264 this is an old standard no longer valid for the reception of all TV programs)

Is there any other more powerful antenna than SpaceX DVB-T2 WSS?

The SpaceX WSS Davbol TV antenna is the most optimized version of all room antennas available for purchase. It is the strongest - but - if you compare antennas larger in size, it is almost certain that larger antennas will be stronger.

Large antenna - high power. Great antenna - great efficiency. Never compare external antennas with small antennas called room antennas.

Do you have another room antenna and it's stronger?

Yes. That's how it is sometimes. It may happen that another room antenna on some multiplex will be stronger, but in total it will not be on all multiplexes. There are situations that in some region there are not all multiplexes available. There are 1 or 2 muxes available and you may get an antenna that has a lot of "efficiency" at these frequencies and will work better than a SpaceX antenna and it may not seem that SpaceX is as good at all. As you already know, these are only isolated cases and this applies to all antennas: directional, mesh, panel. Sometimes the signal is so unstable or conditions so unfavorable that it is necessary for the installer to test all available products on the market to find the best one.

We have no interest in offering you an antenna so you can get tired of it later.

• MUX 2 (Multiplex 2) – Polsat, TVN, TV4, TV6, Puls, Puls 2, TVN 7, Super Polsat.
• MUX 3 (Multiplex 3) – TVP 1 HD, TVP 2 HD, TVP Info HD, TVP 3, TVP Sport HD, TVP Historia, TVP Kultura, TVP ABC

  As part of HbbTV hybrid TV, you can additionally watch TVP World, TVP Kultura 2, TVP ABC 2, TVP Historia 2 and TVP GO after connecting the TV.

• MUX 6 (Multiplex 6) – TVP Science, TVP Entertainment, TVP Dokument, TVP Polonia, TVP Woman, Alfa TVP, Belsat TV. During the World Cup in Qatar, TVP 4K channel was also available on multiplex 6.

Nationwide multiplex 8 wherever it is broadcast in Horizontal Polarization and in the case of a room antenna only from short distances.

• MUX 8 (Multiplex 8) – TV Republic ,New TV, Metro, Zoom TV, WP. Note. Only in places where MUX8 is broadcast in Horizontal polarity. and only at a short distance from the transmitter.

  HbbTV hybrid TV programs: Legia TV, CDA Premium, EWTN Go, UA Perszyj, EmiRadio, EmiTV.

In addition, multiplex 4 is also available. It broadcasts programs encoded as part of Polsat’s service – TV Mobilna. On 27 June 2022, the service was terminated, but after some time it returned in the form of a paid (available in Polsat’s offer) ground package “Sport and Information”:

How many programs can you pick up on this powerful SpaceX WSS 100km antenna?

You can only pick up programs that are broadcast in your area. In most areas of Polish you will not receive all TV programs for several reasons:

1. It is not broadcast everywhere
2. You don’t have a strong enough signal in your location
3. The "room" antenna has a small size and the smaller size means less efficiency
4. You have a window in your home in a different direction than the transmitter or something obscures your transmitter

Can I receive TV Republika on this channel?

About 1/6 Polish territory can receive this television from a room antenna.

Why? The SpaceX Indoor Antenna is designed to receive MUX 1, 2, 3: 6 which are broadcast on the UHF band (channels 21-50) in Horizontal polarization and TV Republika is broadcast on MUX 8 and on this multiplex the indoor antenna operates with 2x less efficiency than on mux 1,2,3,6 and in addition, half Polish has MUX8 available in Vertical polarization and this antenna does not receive the Vertical signal.

So, to receive TV Republika on an indoor antenna, you must be in the part Polish where MUX8 is broadcast in Horizontal Polarization and according to the coverage map, you cannot be further than half the transmitter's range (quite close to the broadcasting station)

Most viewers will not receive TV Republika on the "peaceful" channel

Some important information.

If you have an antenna and it works (you are in the middle range of the power you need for digital TV to work)

a) is after changing the antenna to slightly Stronger (which will make the signal in the upper power range) there will be no difference in the image

Because there is no such thing in Digital TV: a stronger antenna nicer picture. DVB-T2 TV either works or does not.

b) after changing to a weaker antenna (if we are within the required minimum) the image will still be the SAME. .

Nothing's gonna happen either.

When does it make sense to switch to a stronger antenna?

When there is some room antenna (strong) and it does not cope because of (HERE Note) because of TOO WEAK SIGNAL

image works - but interrupts - then replacing with the strongest room antenna makes sense

Because you gain a few dB, which can completely solve this situation.

This is a reason to change the antenna to the strongest room antenna.

When does changing the antenna to a stronger one make no sense?

a) When there is a room antenna and it does not cope due to (HERE Note) because of TOO STRONG SIGNAL

the image works - but interrupts - then the exchange for a stronger room antenna does not make sense, because the signal

It will be even stronger and the TV cannot handle such a strong signal.

b) When you want to receive more TV Shows - there is already a room antenna and it receives correctly

all available channels at a given installation site. Sometimes it can be only 7 programs and nothing more, sometimes 14 or 15

And wants to receive more channels and looking for a Super antenna that will make more TV shows

But this is a mistake - there will be no more programs if they are not broadcast. Or it doesn't get where the antenna is
