Memory Maintenance when replacing OBD2 OBD2 II Battery Anti-Reset ECU
Indispensable during car repairs: When disconnecting the battery for repair, Car Memory Saver is essential. It remains connected to an external power source, supporting the memory of the car computer.
User-friendly design: Car Data Saver, equipped with a car charger with crocodile clamp, powers the car computer through the OBD-II port during battery replacement. Requiring an additional 12 V battery, it is a valuable tool when servicing your car.
Universal compatibility: Compatible with all OBDII ports, suitable for vehicles manufactured since 1996. Maintains settings and memory of controlled devices.
High-quality material: Built-in overload protection, our Car Memory Saver features high-quality copper wire and silicone flame retardant cable. Attention to detail guarantees brand quality and excellent customer service.
Car Memory Saver: Preventing the loss of electronic memory when disconnecting the battery, this tool protects critical car computer data such as dashboard information, acoustics, seat memory and digital clock. It also retains vehicle codes and electronic settings.

Battery replacement has begun
Use two “shark” terminals to connect a spare 12V battery. Red is the positive pole, black is the negative pole. Hummingbird chirps when the connection is complete.

Connect the OBD interface and check that the device is properly connected to the vehicle:
1. Disconnect the positive pole (red clamp) to see if the red light is constantly lit and still emits a hummingbird sound. If it is the same as above, it means that the connection has been established.
2. Connect the red clamp, close the door and remotely close the car to put it into hibernation.
Attention to exchange issues
1. When replacing the battery: do not open the door, do not turn on the lights, do not start the vehicle or turn on any electrical appliances. Be careful.
2. Turning on these devices when replacing the battery will damage the vehicle OBD connector. No sound signal means the fuse in the car burns out. In this case, an exchange will be necessary.
3. After replacing the battery, you must first loosen the red clamp. If the tool still makes a sound resembling a hummingbird chirping, the replacement was successful.
#Operating instructions and notes# - (4 steps)
*1)*. Connect the positive pole of the backup battery to the red terminal, and the negative pole to the black terminal (reverse connection will burn the car computer).
*2)*. When the red light on the plug lights up, connect the car OBD plug. At that moment, Didi’s sound was still coming out. The plug connection is correct.
*3)*. Now you can safely replace the battery, but be careful.
NOTE to step 3:
# When replacing the battery, be sure to close the car and follow the instructions below.
# DO NOT turn on electrical appliances such as headlights.
# DO NOT connect the positive pole of the battery to the mass. Otherwise, the car OBD socket fuse will burn out. This will cause a failure of continuous battery replacement.
# DO NOT turn on the (ignition) of the car when the old battery is disconnected and the new one has not yet been replaced.
# DO NOT turn the key into the “ACC ON” position. Otherwise, the memory support fuse probably burned out due to high current and overload.
*4)*. After replacing the battery, loosen the red tool clamp first. If the tool still makes a sound, it means success. If it does not make a sound, it means that the fuse in the car is blown.
NOTE to step 4:
# DO NOT touch the red and black clamps when removing the clamp, otherwise there will be a short circuit.
