Photo blend is an essential, indispensable tool for any professional and amateur photographer. Blend is used to reflect and modify the color of reflected light. Most often - placed opposite a strong light source - fills shadows and reduces too strong contrast.

Five reflective planes plus cover

We use it especially when working in the field, with natural light, but also in a photo studio. It perfectly complements the basic lighting, it can serve as an alternative to an additional light source. It can be equally successfully used in portrait and nude photography, as well as in product or macro photography.

The effect of using a white blend is to reduce the contrast of the shot. The degree of this effect depends on the size of the blend and its distance from the photographed object.

Silver plane

A blend that reflects light just like a mirror. However, due to the uneven surface, the reflected light does not fall perfectly in parallel, which gives the effect of interesting, soft reflections. Due to the high "directionality" of the reflected light, it is more demanding than a white blend.

The plane of gold

The gold plane is a reflector that significantly warms the incident light (without adding a red component). Used in the photography of the human body, often in the photography of an act.

Black plane

The black blend can be used in opposition to the light source, reducing unwanted reflections and at the same time deepening the contrast. More often, however, the application for this plane is a valve set on the edge of the frame (so-called. "negro") or as a working, neutral black background.
