Fast and efficient charging of high-performance cars

The CTEK MXS 10 battery charger and kit is the ideal solution for charging and maintaining larger batteries used in high-performance cars. It is equipped with a temperature sensor that automatically ensures optimal charging in various weather conditions. The MXS 10 can also be used as a 12V DC power source, preventing the loss of important vehicle electronic system settings when the battery is removed. It features a patented support/pulse charging system, so it can stay securely connected to the battery for extended periods of time.

Recovery mode

The “RECOND” program available in the MXS 10 charger restores battery efficiency and regenerates batteries that are in poor condition or deeply discharged.

AGM mode

Dedicated mode for AGM batteries, enabling faster charging and increasing service life.

Patented desulphurisation function

If the battery has not been used for a long time, it may lose capacity, and its service life may be shortened. Thanks to the use of pulse current and voltage, the MXS 10 charger safely removes sulphates from the lead electrodes of the battery, restoring its efficiency.

1 STAGE - DESULPHATION:

The pulsating voltage removes sulfates from the battery lead plates, restoring the battery capacity.

STAGE 2 - SOFT START (MILD START):

Check if the battery can accept the charge. Charging begins if the battery is working.

3 STAGE - BULK (MAXIMUM CURRENT CHARGING):

Maximum current charging until about 80% of the battery capacity is reached.

4 STAGE - ABSORPTION (ABSORPTION CHARGING), BATTERY READY FOR OPERATION:

Charging with decreasing current to maximize charge to 100% battery capacity.

STAGE 5 - ANALYSE (ANALYSIS)

Check if the battery can hold the charge. Batteries that are unable to hold a charge may need to be replaced.

STAGE 6 - RECOND (REGENERATION)

Regeneration function for deeply discharged batteries.

7 STAGE - FLOAT (MAINTENANCE CHARGE), BATTERY FULLY CHARGED

Maintaining the battery voltage at maximum level by delivering a constant voltage charge.

8 STAGE - PULSE (PULSE CHARGING), MAINTENANCE CHARGING

Keeping the battery at 95-100% capacity.
