is an electronic rectifier for charging 6 and 12 volt batteries:

WET (liquid - acidic)

The rectifier has a microprocessor control system, ensures automatic transition to the backup status when the required voltage is reached on the battery and automatic resumption of charging after the voltage drops on the battery.

The SPRINT 20 PRO has 3 charging modes:

AGM/STD – acidic liquid batteries WET, AGM, MF and EFB

GEL – gel batteries

LFP – Lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4)

With each type of battery, we have the ability to choose the maximum charging current or work in automatic mode.

The device is equipped with a digital display, which, depending on the selected mode, can show: charging voltage, charging current or battery charge (%).

REPAIR function - After connecting the battery and starting the charging mode, the rectifier will "check" the level of sulphation of the battery. If the level of sulphation is in the optimal range, the rectifier will undertake the regeneration process.

For 12 V batteries, the device also has the following functions:

voltage maintenance when replacing the battery (13.6V SUPPLY).

start-up assistance (BOOST 100A).

Charging process

The 9-step charging process ensures optimal battery charging conditions. The automatic control system will adjust each of the 9 charging stages to properly charge the battery:

STAGE 1 - Diagnostic - analyzes the battery and checks whether it can accept charging current; prevents charging the damaged battery

STAGE 2 - Recovery charge – low voltage batteries are pre-charged with low current but with increased voltage; very discharged batteries can be restored to a usable state and this ensures a longer battery life, the stage is skipped if the battery is minimally discharged and in good condition.

STAGE 3 - Soft start – the rectifier gradually increases the charging current to reach the set charging current

STAGE 4 - Pulse charge – the battery is charged with pulsed current (pulse fluctuations take place in the DC current range)

STAGE 5 - Reconditioning – preparation stage for charging in the bulk charge stage

STAGE 6 - Bulk charge – constant current charging to the previously set voltage (14.4÷14.7V)

STAGE 7 - Absorption charge – after reaching the required degree of battery charge, there will be a change to constant voltage (CV) charging and the charging process will be completed

STAGE 8 - Evaluation diagnostic - automatic monitoring of battery voltage after charging

STAGE 9 - Maintenance charge – stage supporting the battery (float) and monitoring its condition; resumes charging with reduced current if necessary.
