The VARIO BASE 5Z is four years of comfortable and safe travel with your child. The modular base fits the BABY-SAFE PRO carrier and the car seat, BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE carrier, BABY-SAFE CORE carrier and DUALFIX 5Z car seat – each of them can be fixed on the base with one click. The swivel feature allows you to turn the seat towards the door for easier insertion and attachment of your child. In addition, the DUALFIX can be rotated 360 degrees, allowing your child to drive forward-facing after 15 months and reaching above 76 cm in height.

COMFORT IN EVERY JOURNEY

In cars with sloping seats, the child’s head may fall when it is attached to the seat. For this reason, the VARIO BASE 5Z can be positioned in six positions to provide your child with the best combination of safety and comfort. In the case of a carrier, it is best to set the angle of inclination before attaching to the base, while in the case of the DUALFIX 5Z seat, you can change its angle of inclination while driving when the toddler falls asleep.

EASY ACCESS THANKS TO THE ROTATING BASE

All seats compatible with the VARIO BASE 5Z can be rotated towards the door so that it is easier for you to fasten your child in the seat. Although we recommend that you take your child rear-facing for as long as possible, you can easily rotate the base 180 degrees for forward driving in the DUALFIX 5Z when your child is 15 months old or over 76 cm tall.
