Navitel E505 Magnetic is a functional GPS car navigation system that makes it easy to plan routes both during daily commutes and longer trips around Europe. The device is equipped with a 5-inch touch screen, Linux operating system and a convenient magnetic holder. With offline maps, you don’t have to use the internet or consume a data packet on your phone. Navigation provides clear directions, alerts you to speed limits, and helps you prepare for your next maneuver early enough.

Magnetic holder and convenient power supply
The most important convenience of the Navitel E505 Magnetic is the holder with magnetic connector. It allows you to quickly attach the device to your car and remove it just as easily when you're done traveling. You do not need to connect the cable directly to the navigation every time – the car charger can be connected to the holder, and the power is transmitted to the device via a magnetic connector.
When you place the navigation in the powered holder, it can start automatically. This solution reduces the number of wires within the driver’s reach and makes it take only a moment to prepare the device for driving. The set includes a handle designed to be mounted on the windshield of the car.
Clear 5 inch touch screen
Navigation Navitel E505 Magnetic has a 5-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 480 × 272 pixels. The size of the display allows you to conveniently observe the course of the route, street names, distance to maneuver and information about the current speed.
Touch control makes it easy to select addresses, points on the map and saved places. The map view can be changed between 2D and 3D mode, adjusting the way the route is presented to your preferences. Built-in backlight improves image readability when driving in different lighting conditions.
Three alternative routes and practical tips
After indicating the target, Navitel Navigator can offer three alternative routes. The driver can compare their mileage, approximate length and travel time, and then choose the most suitable variant.
While driving, the navigation transmits voice messages and presents subsequent maneuvers along with the remaining distance to them. In the case of multi-lane roads, it suggests which lane should be occupied before the intersection or exit. The screen also displays information about the remaining travel time, distance to the destination and the estimated time of arrival.
Speed and point warnings SPEEDCAM
Navitel E505 Magnetic displays the current speed limit next to the current vehicle speed. If the driver exceeds the set threshold, the device informs him by means of a clear warning.
The SPEEDCAM function can notify you when you are approaching speed cameras, speed control locations, dangerous intersections, release thresholds and other potential obstacles marked on the map. There is also a POI database, including petrol stations, shops and other useful places near the route.
Maps of 47 countries and offline navigation
The device includes a license for maps of 47 countries, from which selected are factory saved in memory. Navigation works offline, so it does not require a connection to a cellular network to determine routes and use maps.
With Navitel Navigator Update Center, you can update your app and maps, delete unused files, and install the maps you need for your next trip. The program designed to support updates works on a computer to which navigation is connected via USB cable. When expanding the map set, a microSDHC card slot with a capacity of up to 32 GB is available.
Stable operation thanks to Linux
Navitel E505 Magnetic navigation runs on Linux. The MStar MSB2531 processor with a frequency of 800 MHz is responsible for operating the navigation program, calculating routes and displaying maps.
The device has 8 GB of internal memory and 128 MB of DDR3 RAM. The internal GPS antenna receives the satellite signal without the need to connect additional accessories. The built-in speaker ensures clear playback of voice messages and warnings.
Routes adapted to vehicle parameters
Navitel E505 Magnetic allows you to enter the vehicle parameters used when calculating the route. This feature is especially useful for truck drivers and oversized vehicles.
After saving the relevant data, the program can take into account the vehicle profile when planning the journey. Navigation will therefore work not only in a passenger car, but also during professional travel and cargo transport.
