Designed and manufactured in France using VW and Seat cars, they allow drivers of these brands to enjoy the musicality of their cars, which finally begin to play, sound natural, rich and technically correct, while leaving the factory look of the interior.

Key advantages:

The midbass size is identical to the factory one, but it has a much larger magnetic system and a 1" coil. The Polyglass membrane with fiberglass ensures an astonishingly wide spread of sound and a natural, rich reproduction of both bass and midrange tones. The connection built into the speakers is identical to the factory one, so you plug one in place of the other.

The treble is played by the new TNB tweeter, i.e. an inverted aluminum-magnesium dome with butyl suspension. The collar visible around the speaker is actually an integral element of the speaker, whose task is to improve the horizontal directionality of sound imaging.

Rich midrange, or why the French love vocals:

Polyglass membrane technology in combination with fiberglass, available exclusively at Focal, involves applying molten glass microspheres to a pulp cone. This process combines excellent paper attenuation with glass stiffness. The stiffness index even exceeds the ratio achieved by Kevlar® with a single coating and is almost ten times higher than that of polypropylene.

The weight/stiffness/damping ratio adjustment provides exceptional linearity of the frequency response curve, all thanks to the inherent cone design. This innovation greatly improves the resolution in the middle of the band.

Precise and smooth sound

The Focal inverted aluminum dome tweeter has a suspension design that comes directly from the speakers of the reference line Utopia! The material used is very light, which means that the suspension will not be damaged or compressed over time, the distortion will be reduced and the frequency characteristics will be improved.

The result is a sound that is soft and precise, and that offers an improved richness of harmonic decay, detail, and a more precise soundstage.

Very sensitive frequencies for the human ear are also reduced: thanks to this technology, the tweeter generates more than 2x less distortion in the range of 2kHz - 3kHz than classic textile domes.
