The CPX 165 coaxial audio system provides the thrill of listening to Hertz audio, even when the vehicle does not allow the installation of a two-way set. The Tetolon dome tweeter and neodymium magnet feature off-axis scattering and exceptional frequency expansion for detailed, surround sound. Radial Venting System technology provides unparalleled coil cooling with eight holes at the base of the motor that allow air exchange with the base of the tweeter. It acts as a rear camera, matched to low frequencies, providing a natural midrange range and allowing a low-frequency split point with a woofer. The pressed paper diaphragm and butyl rubber suspension provide an extended low frequency response and impressive impact. The Mille-inspired speaker basket features a dampened and protective rubber-coated magnet. The grill, available as an option, is made of durable high-strength ABS frame and metal protective mesh.
- Tweeter with soft tetolone fiber dome, with 20mm diameter movable vibrating coil, ferrofluid cooled, provides natural and extended high frequencies.
- Radial Venting System technology with 8 ventilation holes provides excellent cooling of the vibrating coil and a natural midrange range, characterized by a low Fs coefficient of the tweeter, thanks to air exchange with a support acting as a large rear chamber.
- Pure copper coil with a diameter of 25 mm guarantees high swings.
- Pressed paper membrane with finite element optimized geometry (FEM), combining rigidity and lightness for a colorless sound.
- High-density ferrite magnet combined with low-carbon pole plates ensure distortion reduction at high power levels.
- Three-arm, compact and transparent basket, acoustically combined with anti-vibration rubber magnet cover, ensures complete damping of unwanted vibrations.
