Operating mode BOOSTER

This mode is designed exclusively for 12V batteries. After selecting the “Booster” mode, the charging current reaches its maximum value and the charging time is 200 seconds. After 200 seconds, the “on” message will appear on the screen, which means that you can start the car.

How to Use the FOXSUR FPT-250

1. Connect the charger to a power source by plugging it into an outlet.
2. Connect the charger clamps to the battery - red clamp to the positive (+) terminal, black clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
3. Select the appropriate charging mode by pressing the button on the panel, and the charger will automatically start the charging process.

• Battery desulfatization – The first stage during which the charger removes sulfate from the battery plates, which is especially useful for older or long-unused batteries. This process helps to restore the battery capacity and improve its performance.
• Soft start charging – At this stage, the charger slowly increases the voltage to prepare the battery for full charging, minimizing the risk of damage and ensuring a smooth start of the process.
• Primary charging – The charger provides constant current to quickly charge the battery to about 80% of its capacity. This is the main stage of charging, which most effectively raises the energy level in the battery.
• Absorption charging – At this stage, the charger lowers the current and provides energy more slowly to fully charge the battery without the risk of overcharging.
• Battery test – The charger performs a test to assess the state of charge and efficiency of the battery, which allows you to detect potential problems before further use.
• Recuperative charging (regeneration) – A regeneration process in which the charger helps restore the condition of older or heavily discharged batteries, extending their service life and improving efficiency.
• Support charging (floating) – The battery is kept on a full charge with a minimum current level, which prevents it from discharging during long storage.
• Recharging after discharge – If the voltage level in the battery drops, the charger will automatically start the charging process again, ensuring full readiness for use.

Temperature Adaptation Function

In Summer Mode (summer), when the temperature exceeds +28°C, the charger lowers the charging voltage to prevent overheating of the battery.
