Update instructions:
The September Android update on some phones caused connection problems with Carlinkit 5.0 devices. To resolve the issue, you must perform a device update. Below instructions in a few steps.
To do this, connect the adapter to the power supply (does not have to be in the car)
1 Connect to the WIFI network of the device (usually called "AutoKit..." - the password to the network is "12345678").
2 Open a web browser (other than Google Chrome - e.g. Opera, Firefox, Samsung browser, etc.) on your phone and enter URL 192.168.50.2. When the notification that the network does not have access to the Internet pops up, click "yes".
3 From the additional settings, we can update the device in the Help - Check Update tab.
4 A notification will pop up asking you to disconnect from WiFi, turn off WiFi and click confirm as the update downloads, reconnect.
5 To be sure, you can reset the device in the Settings - Reset tab.
The software version should be marked with the number 2023.10.14.1711 - this is a revised version by the manufacturer, which solves the above-mentioned connection problem.
