14 mm anti-hail half-cover – protection of strategic body parts

The Nava Group anti-hail cover is an effective and functional protection of the upper parts of the car against grade and other adverse weather conditions. Thanks to the design focused on the most exposed elements of the body – roof, hood and posts – the cover provides protection where it is needed most.

The upper part uses a 5-layer, waterproof material with a thickness of up to 14 mm, including a layer of cushioning foam that absorbs and dissipates the force of hail strikes. The sides are made of material with vapor-permeable properties, thanks to which they allow proper air circulation and moisture wicking. Inside, a soft finishing layer is used, safe for varnish.

Construction of a semi-cover

The anti-hail half-cover has been designed in such a way as to focus protection on the body elements most exposed to hail.

Upper part – 5 layers, thickness 14 mm:

• Outer layer – a two-layer spunbond material with waterproof and vapor-permeable properties. It protects against rain and snow, and also reduces the impact of UV radiation.
• Middle layer – consists of a coating of waterproof and thick cushioning foam with a total thickness of 14 mm, which effectively suppresses the impact energy of falling hail.
• Inner layer – single-layer spunbond made of delicate polypropylene, safe for varnish.

Sides made of material with waterproof and vapor-permeable properties, designed to drain excess moisture from the tarpaulin.

Fixing of the semi-cover

To ensure proper stability and adhesion, the half-cover is equipped with a 5-point fastening system.
