The Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC is a luxury two-door S-class coupé that debuted in autumn 1981 as Daimler’s flagship model. The car is distinguished by its sleek, aerodynamic silhouette and powerful 5-liter V8 engine with 231 hp (in European specification). The model kit from Tamiya allows you to recreate this unique vehicle with attention to both exterior and interior details. The model presents the full structure of the vehicle – from the body, through the engine and interior, to the mapped bottom of the chassis with independent suspension, drive shaft and exhaust system. The high level of detail ensures not only assembly satisfaction, but also an impressive end result. The engine cover is removable, allowing you to display the interior of the engine compartment. The interior is rendered with realistic seat textures, wood-like panels and indicators on the dashboard. The set includes decals with imitation structure of interior materials and vehicle markings.
