The engine in the DWM 12000 HD S winch has a huge power of 6,8HP, is well sealed and does not mind rain, mud or sand, but if you are looking for a winch that can even be sunk (typical hardcore offroad - check the Highlander winch series from Dragon Winch)

The durable three-stage planetary transmission is made of high-quality steel. Each of its elements has been precisely made and perfectly fitted, which guarantees us long-term, trouble-free operation. The transmission uses sliding machines, which further extend the life of the equipment and eliminate the problem of baking needle bearings.

The brake on the DWM 12000 HD S is a separate component located in the winch drum. It connects the engine to the transmission. It is supported by 3 linings to brake and hold the pulled object even more effectively.

Important practical notes:

• guide rollers should be attached to the mounting plate, not to the winch directly
• choose a winch with a pull 2 times the weight of the pulled vehicle (the maximum pull of the winch is given for the first layer of rope, with each subsequent layer the pull is smaller)
• for safety reasons, it is worth using a current hebel - an emergency current switch that cuts off the power from the battery (also available for purchase at our auction)
• connect the winch directly to the battery (plus and minus), i.e. the minus terminal is also connected directly to the battery and not e.g. for the car body
• we do not unroll the rope to the end, the winch should have a wound rope on the drum (3-4 drum circuits)
• in case of unrolling the rope to the end, wind the rope from the bottom
