The pH factor indicates what reaction water has: acidic, neutral or alkaline. A photometric meter is used to check this value. The pH value indicated during the measurement has a decisive impact on all other treatments undertaken to ensure the safety and comfort of use of the pool.

Both too high and too low pH are associated with negative consequences.

Adjusting the pH of pool water is possible through the use of appropriate preparations, available in the form of liquid or granules. We offer both raising agents and lowering the pH in water.

1 How to use?

• Measure the pH value in pool water. The target value is 6,8 and 7,2.

• Calculate the value of the preparation needed. 100g of the preparation increases the average pH by 0,2 for every 10m3 of water. E.g. 300g of the preparation will increase the pH value from 6,8 to 7,0 in a 30m3 pool.

• Calculated dosage content in several portions to the skimmer (for faster mixing). In addition, the dosage divided into several times avoids overdose.

• When dosing with automatic pumps, 20% solution is recommended.
