Aquajoy pH+Rx 1.5 l/h peristaltic metering pump system + pH set, Rx

The Aquajoy pH+Rx 1.5 l/h digital peristaltic metering pump system is the ideal solution for accurate dosing of chemicals into the pool without human intervention.

The pump system 100% eliminates overdose of chemical reagents. It is a technologically advanced equipment that controls and automatically maintains the pH level and concentration of disinfectant in pools with a capacity of up to 250 000 liters. The IP65 rating ensures reliable and durable operation of the device.

The Aquajoy pH+Rx system is equipped with an LCD display, which can be easily adjusted performance through menu settings or an automatic proportional dosing system depending on the signal from Redox and pH sensors. Sensors and calibration solutions are supplied with the pump system.

It is a complex indicator that takes into account the current level of disinfectant and pH in water. Based on the Redox value, the metering pump regulates the dosage of the disinfectant. It comes from the words Reduction - the degree of water pollution with organic substances and Oxidation - the ability to destroy impurities.

Using the RX electrode, the metering pump performs water analysis. Based on the obtained data, the pump independently adds the necessary amount of chlorine to the pool in order to raise or lower the RX to the desired level according to the specified settings.

Level of disinfectant in water:

• reduced level of disinfectant in water reduces Redox
• increased level of disinfectant in water increases Redox.

This is an indicator that characterizes the concentration of free hydrogen ions in water. This balance can be disturbed, causing a change in pH levels. The pH level is responsible for the properties and quality of water. The optimal indicator of the pH level of the pool water is considered to be the range from 7.2 to 7.4. This water is also called neutral water. If the indicator is higher than 7.4, the water will have an alkaline reaction, and if the indicator is lower, less than 7.2 - acidic.

Using the pH electrode, the metering pump performs an analysis of the acid-base balance of water. Based on the obtained data, the pump independently adds the necessary amount of reagent to the pool in order to raise or lower the pH to the desired level according to the specified settings.

pH level in water:

• decreased pH increases Redox. But at the same time, the risk of corrosion of equipment, metal parts and seams increases, as well as the destruction of the pool finish;
• elevated pH level lowers Redox, which leads to the appearance of stone, unpleasant odor and irritation of the eyes and skin

Automatic pH + disinfectant dispensing mode = always crystal clear water

The Aquajoy pH+Rx 1.5 l/h peristaltic metering pump system performs indicator analysis using Redox and pH electrodes. Based on these indicators, the pump automatically dispenses reagents in the required proportion. In this way, constant pH and Redox control is ensured without human intervention.

Dosing can be done proportionally in Pro Band mode or in continuous mode - ON/OFF.

In the Redox settings, you can program the dosing of the disinfectant in interval mode: it is possible to adjust the operating intervals and breaks in the range from 1 to 120 minutes.

Special modes increase water treatment efficiency

Save reagent consumption, protect equipment from damage and prevent failures in dosing:

• Pro Band - reduces the frequency of injections per minute after reaching a certain level of indicator in the pool water (Settpoint indicator in menu settings). It ensures maximum dosing precision, eliminating excessive reagent wear.
• Alarm Band - allows you to set the limit value of the electrode at which the pump stops. It also eliminates overdose of reagents in case of electrode failure or incorrect readings due to irregular electrode calibration. (* It is recommended to calibrate the electrode once a month. )
• OFA - stops dosing and activates the alarm signal if the required pool water indicator has not been reached within the set time. Protects against idling in the event of a failure, such as a pipe rupture.

12 Connection of pH and Redox sensor via BNC connector: provides automatic control of the selected pool water indicator. The sensors are supplied with a metering pump system.

Principle of operation of peristaltic pumps

The principle of operation of peristaltic pumps is based on compression of the flexible tube by rollers moving around the perimeter. The liquid is pulled through the inlet valve, and squeezing the tube in narrow places of the track ensures that it is pushed evenly into the pool pipeline system.

In peristaltic metering pumps, pumped reagents do not come into contact with components and housing.

This allows you to dispense any reagents without exposing the materials to wear and tear. The tube is the only part that comes into contact with the reagent. It can be easily replaced at the end of its useful life.
