If you like swimming in a pool with warm water, you don’t have to rely solely on the sun. The HOT SPLASH Plug&Play heat pump is suitable for small above-ground pools up to 12 m³ and is very easy to use.

HOT SPLASH heat pump has a very high thermal COP of 6,0 (COP at A25/W25)

The concept of COP (Coefficient of Performance) refrigeration efficiency coefficient needs to be clarified. This is the ratio of the heating power output to the power consumed by the pump.

For example, if the COP is 8 and the pump draws 1 kW of power, it gives 8 times more heating power, i.e. 8 kW.

This factor is variable and the higher it is, the higher the air temperature and the lower the efficiency of the heat pump.

Principle of operation of heat pump

Pumps heats use free ambient heat energy.

This energy is transferred to the pool water.

The pool pump directs water through the pump exchanger warm and heats the pool.

The heat pump includes a fan that draws in air from the outside and directs it above the surface of the energy collector.

The refrigerant absorbs heat from the air, which subsequently evaporates. Warm gas flows through the compressor, where it is compressed until a very hot gas is formed, which then passes through the heat exchanger.

Here heat exchange takes place - warm gas gives heat to cooler water in the pool flowing through the exchanger.

The pool water becomes warmer and the hot gas is cooled, flows through the capacitor exchanger, returns to a liquid state and after passing the expansion valve, the whole activity starts again.
