The ATH-M50xBT2 is the second generation of the critically acclaimed M series wireless over-ear headphones from Audio-Technica. The headphones are equipped with 45 mm drivers that provide sound similar to the legendary studio headphones of this manufacturer – the ATH-M50x model. The new version introduces several significant improvements, such as e.g. improved speech signal processing for better quality phone calls, improved USB-C connection and multipoint pairing mode. Whether you need high-quality audio for commuting, video conferencing, or simply relaxing and enjoying your music, the ATH-M50xBT2 allows you to enjoy wireless audio playback whenever you need it.

ATH-M50xBT2 – studio sound quality

Based on the acclaimed sound of the ATH-M50x wired headphones, the ATH-M50xBT2 – using Bluetooth wireless connectivity – offers similar studio sound quality. The pickups used in the ATH-M50xBT2 headphones deliver deep and precise bass for an immersive listening experience. The premium components used in the design of the headphones, such as the advanced digital-to-analog converter AK4331 and the built-in internal headphone amplifier, provide excellent, clear and natural sound.

Improved call quality and service

The ATH-M50xBT2 headphones are equipped with two omnidirectional MEMS microphones (microelectromechanical) and use beamforming technology. This provides improvement of speech signal processing, thus ensuring crystal clear audio call quality. With the push of a button, you can conveniently and quickly mute the microphone sound or get access to the Amazon Alexa voice assistant, but also Google Assistant or Siri.

The multipoint pairing feature ensures that the headphones can stay connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. This makes switching between them much easier and faster. The headphones also support the Google Fast Pair function, which allows you to quickly pair your headphones with Android-based mobile devices.

Efficient battery

Headphones can run on battery for up to 50 hours on a full charge, making them one of the longest running wireless models on the market. Also noteworthy is the fast charging function. Just 10 minutes of charging the headphones (via USB-C) gives them approx. 3 hours wireless operation. The full charge cycle of the ATH-M50xBT2 takes approx. 3,5 hours

You can also use the ATH-M50xBT2 headphones as a wired model – thanks to the included audio cable with a length of 1,2 m, which is terminated with a 3,5 mm jack plug.

Functional application Audio-Technica Connect

You can also personalize and adjust the operating parameters of the ATH-M50xBT2 to your preferences using the Audio-Technica Connect app. With its use, you can, for example. activate low latency mode (LLM) Low Latency Mode). This solution reduces delays in audio signal transmission, which allows you to keep your audio and video synchronized, thus guaranteeing smooth streaming. This mode is also great for gaming.

In the application you can also m.in. set the sound correction, modify the volume balance between the two headphones – left and right, as well as select the voice assistant. There is also a Side Tone mode, which allows you to listen to your own voice in headphones while making phone calls or video calls.
