These are all BMW and MINI models produced after 06/2016 EQUIPPED with NBT EVO ID5/6 media unit.

Activation is simple and fast and does not require the use of any specialized software - all you need is a USB flash drive or an ENET - cable depending on the software version.

Instructions for activation via USB:

1. Download and extract the file

2. Transfer the file to a previously prepared FAT32 flash drive

3. Start the car engine

4. Connect the flash drive for 30 seconds

5. Hold the Volume button for 20 seconds to reset iDrive

6. CarPlay along with other features will install automatically and restart after installation is complete

7. Wait about 5 minutes and restart iDrive by holding down the volume button for 20 seconds

8. After restarting, CarPlay is active and you can connect your device enter:

MEDIA -> EDIT MOBILE DEVICES -> CONNECT NEW DEVICE -> Apple CarPlay

The whole process takes about 5 minutes!

If your car has newer software - don't worry! We are also able to activate Apple CarPlay in full screen, ScreenMirroring, Video while driving and lifetime code for maps. All you need is an ENET cable (ENET BMW). After purchase, we give applications for activation and complete instructions. You need Windows and internet access. This option is for vehicles with software: NBTEvo_P, NBTEvo_R, NBTEvo_Q, NBTEvo_S, NBTEvo_U, NBTEvo_V, NBTEvo_W, NBTEvo_X, NBTEvo_Y. It also does not require any programming skills or specialized software.

Swipe down to "Position and Version" ->

In all BMW cars, CarPlay only works wirelessly, so if the multimedia unit does not have a WIFI antenna, you must purchase one and connect it yourself.

The cost of a universal antenna is approximately PLN 30-40.

Without an antenna, CarPlay and ScreenMirroring may freeze or not connect.
