Single protectors, unlike double protectors, do not require clamping them during use, thanks to which trainees can breathe freely and thus train more efficiently.

1. Boil water and pour it into a glass dish.

(You should not form a protector in a hot dish, because there is a risk of it sticking to the walls of the dish. )

2. Dip the protector in hot water until it becomes soft

(Approx. 30 sec ) (Time depends on the water temperature, it should be subjectively assessed whether the material has become soft enough.

3. Rinse the protector with cold water (max. 1 sec. )

(An optional step that is worth taking to avoid burns. )

4. Put the protector on your upper jaw and bite your teeth for approx. 2-3 sec.

(When clenching your teeth, start the molding process by pressing the front of the protector with your fingers. )

5. Press the protector with your fingers around your teeth.

(When you open your mouth, start pressing the protector with your fingers on both sides - external and internal)

6. Take off the protector and squeeze the front part with your fingers for a better fit.

(This will ensure a better grip on the protector on the upper jaw. )

7. Put the protector in the freezer for approx. 10-15min.

(During cooling, the material shrinks taking on the final form. )

8. Put the protector on your upper jaw making sure it stays on when you open your mouth.

(If the protector does not hold on its own, repeat the whole process from the beginning. )
