Canon 15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM is a wide-angle zoom lens that guarantees high image quality that will satisfy professional commercial photographers. Perfect for photography of architecture, interiors and landscapes. It can also be used in reportage. Due to its bright F/2.8 aperture and built-in optical stabilization, it will provide good photos of scantily lit scenes. Thanks to the sealed housing, it can be used in adverse conditions, e.g. dusty rooms or in the rain.

The recently unveiled EOS R system, along with RF lens mounts, takes Canon imaging technologies to the next level. Launched in September 2018, the RF lens mount enabled the use of a completely new design, allowing large optical elements to be placed even closer to the sensor. Thanks to this, the light goes directly to the sensor, without any obstacles. The RF mount speeds up communication between the body and the lens and also helps achieve the fastest (for a full-frame mirrorless camera system) autofocus speed in the world. In addition, the short distance between the lens mount and the sensor and the large mounting diameter (54mm) resulted in the creation of a new generation of optics that provides the perfect balance between small size and high image quality.

The lens uses 2 ultra-low dispersion lenses and 3 molded glass aspherical lenses. This makes it possible to effectively correct aberrations and distortions. The obtained images are characterized by excellent sharpness throughout the frame area for all focal values, as well as high contrast.

The RF 15-35mm F2.8L IS USM is one of the first designs to offer Canon’s image stabilization technology. Its operation is really effective, which allows you to get extremely smooth, sharp and vibration-free shots both during shooting and filming. Dual Sensing IS and Combination IS technologies allow for extremely effective vibration identification while detecting when shots are taken with a tripod. In this situation, vibration reduction is turned off. The RF 15-35mm F2.8L IS USM lens will provide you with exceptionally sharp images in all conditions.

The RF 15-35mm F2.8L IS USM lens is based on the Nano USM motor, which guarantees smooth, precise and quiet operation. Thanks to its use, it is possible to effectively use the AF system during filming. During registration, no unwanted sounds related to the work of optics are recorded.

As befits the unique L series, the RF 15-35mm F2.8L IS USM lens offers a personalized control ring to which basic functions can be assigned, such as setting exposure time, ISO values or exposure compensation. This makes the work much more intuitive.

RF 15-35mm F2.8L IS USM is also known for L series build quality. Seals and fluoride coating placed on the front and rear elements make it much easier to keep the lens clean and allow you to shoot in demanding environments.
