Mattress is the most important element of any bed - no matter how much we really want, we will not sleep on the frame itself. It is also known that the harder the mattress, the better for our spine. Newborns in this matter have exactly the same needs - despite many beliefs, the baby does not immediately need a set of bedding, carousels or a whole bunch of mascots... Especially from the point of view of a child who recently slept in a completely dark, warm place without unnecessary gadgets.

Rucken Egg is a 75x37 cm mattress, made using certified materials. It was created with Moses baskets in mind, it also fits the popular Chicco Baby Hug crib. The Rucken Egg mattress is made of two types of foam - VitaRest HR35/32 with high elasticity and T25/42. What’s more, it uses many systems – including the Air Pro ventilation system – that are designed to increase the comfort of the toddler and ensure that he is not as comfortable outside his mother’s arms as in his own crib.

The mattress received a positive opinion of the Institute of Mother and Child, each element included in the mattress has a certificate Öko-Tex Standard 100.

Air Pro ventilation system

The Air Pro system ensures adequate airflow - all thanks to specially designed ventilation channels that come in three layers of the mattress and connect to each other, allowing air to flow freely. Proper sleep hygiene is something that is worth caring for in your child from the first days of his life, and the Rucken Egg mattress will help you with this.

Foam resistant to deformation

The mattress was created from two types of foam - their total thickness is 3 cm (with a cover of 4cm), which means that the mattress is distinguished by optimal thickness, and thus - resistance to deformation and durability. Purple foam with a unique structure - VitaRest HR3532 - prevents sweating and reduces pressure on the most exposed parts of the spine, while white foam - T 2542 - is distinguished by a lack of sensitivity to creases.

Double-sided mattress

Rucken Egg is a double-sided mattress, and each side is characterized by a different level of hardness. The part of the mattress made of VitaRest HR foam is more delicate, while the white foam side will be suitable for people who like slightly harder surfaces for sleep.

Tencel Fiber Cover

Tencel fiber knitwear was used to create the mattress cover, which is distinguished by its natural origin. It is more effective in terms of water vapour exchange, in which it definitely beats covers made of cotton. Thanks to this and the use of 3D aeration mesh, the cover provides thermal comfort throughout the year - in summer giving coolness and in winter heating. The cover is extremely gentle on the skin and, like the mattress, is double-sided. Its two parts connect with each other with a zipper.

The hydrophobicity characteristic of the cover will allow the parent to more easily cope with spilling the drink on the mattress. The cover will help maintain the good condition of the mattress, as it slows down the penetration of liquids.

"Ultra Fresh" Certificate

VitaRest foam is antibacterial and has obtained the certificate "Ultra Fresh" - inhibits the growth of microorganisms and does not promote the reproduction of bacteria, fungi and mold. Thanks to this, it is safe to say that it helps in maintaining hygiene and greater sterility, which is why it is ideal, among others, for allergy sufferers.
