KD2114 is a paint gun powered by compressed air, designed for applying paints, varnishes and soils in workshop and garage conditions. Characteristics of the device

Three interchangeable nozzles

Nozzles with diameters of 1,2 mm, 1,5 mm and 1,8 mm allow you to work with materials of different viscosity. A smaller nozzle (1,2 mm) works well with diluted finishing varnishes, a larger nozzle (1,8 mm) – with denser primer paints or enamels.

Regulation of varnishing parameters

Knobs placed on the body allow you to independently adjust the amount of material fed, the width of the spray cone and the air pressure. Precise adjustment reduces material consumption and improves coating uniformity.

Top tank 600 ml

The 600 ml tank located above the gun provides a gravitational supply of material, which promotes even paint feeding and facilitates emptying of the tank. The capacity is enough to cover medium-sized items without having to refill.

Low unladen weight

The weight of 0,575 kg (without material) reduces hand fatigue during longer work. This is important when painting larger surfaces, where the gun is held in one position for a long time.

Requirements for the compressor

The gun requires a compressed air source capable of maintaining an operating pressure of 3,5 to 5 bar with continuous flow. Before buying, it is worth checking the compressor efficiency (l/min) – insufficient air flow can cause uneven spraying even at the correct pressure. Compressors with a minimum capacity of 100 – 150 l/min are recommended to work with a paint gun.

Use and maintenance

After each use, the gun should be rinsed with a suitable solvent (matched to the material used) to prevent paint residues from drying out in the nozzle and air ducts. The dried material can permanently lock the nozzle or needle valve. Gaskets and spire should be periodically lubricated with oil for pneumatic tools. Nozzles should be kept clean – even a small contamination of the nozzle opening affects the shape of the spray cone and the quality of the coating.
