WT160/2PD has a gearbox with a 2-speed transmission, which will allow you to better choose the drilling speed depending on the diameter of the hole and the material. Properly selected rotation speed also reduces the wear of the drill.

• Run L - has a speed of 1150 rpm. /min and high torque, which is ideal in a duet with large diameter drill bits.
• Run H - will provide you primarily with a high speed of 2340 rpm. /min perfect for smaller diameters.

Our core drill uses a mechanical clutch that protects the transmission and engine from damage. However, if the crown drill is jammed in the workpiece material during manual drilling, the machine may rotate rapidly, which may pose a potential hazard to the operator. Therefore, where possible, we recommend using the stand for drilling rigs, whose task is to increase the stability of the device, minimizing the risk of uncontrolled rotation and increasing the overall level of work safety.

The presented model has a base designed so that the drilling angle can be adjusted in the 45° range.

The feed lever can be mounted on both the left and right sides of the tripod.

The stand base is equipped with four stabilizing screws, allowing you to position the tripod on an uneven plane.

Microstroke function

Delivering impact pulses with a frequency of 29.000 strokes/min supports and enables faster drilling progress.

When using a drill with laser-welded segments (usually designed for dry operation), we get the opportunity to drill using a microstroke, which significantly accelerates drilling.

When we have available drills with soldered segments (usually designed for wet work), we use microstroke only in the process of sharpening the drill.
