⭐ 110 W: power selected for carbide, not for breaking material

Sharpening the spectral disc involves collecting a thin layer from the tooth. Sintered carbide is hard but brittle.

Poorly sharpened tooth with a device of too high power of the order of 800 W catches microcracks and crumbles at the first cut in wood.

The 110 W engine at 5300 rpm guides the stone at a rate at which the tooth sharpens gradually and without the risk of damaging the disc.

In this case, more power of the device does not mean a better sharpener.

⚡ Sharpening for pennies - low power consumption

The sharpener takes 110 W regardless of whether you sharpen one blade or the whole set.

The effect?

⭐ Adjustable sharpening angle to the right and left

The adjustment screw releases the head, and the graduation cast in the body shows the tilt in both directions. The range reaches up to 25° on each side.

The tilt on both sides also supports discs with teeth spaced alternately, in which subsequent teeth have the opposite angle.

How does it work?

You set the angle under the tooth geometry of your disc and tighten the screw. The head stays in this position throughout the sharpening.

⚡ From small hand saw blade to large with slash

The 90-400 mm range will handle most of the discs that you have in your workshop.

The centering element tapers downwards, so the dial rests against the cone with the edge of the hole and sits exactly in the axis.

⭐ Front and rear tooth surface

The stone can be set to sharpen the attack surface of the tooth or its back. This is determined by the mutual position of the shield and puck.

What do you gain?

You restore the full geometry of the tooth, not just its tip.

⚡ Repetitive sharpening position or the same effect on each tooth

The locking pin rests against the shield. You rotate the disc to the next tooth, and the stem stops it itself in a repetitive position. (This guarantees the same angle)

The support of the shield stands right next to the stone and supports the plane from below. (This guarantees the same height)

Your work is repetitive. Each tooth on the perimeter has the same height and the same angle.

⭐ Screwed edger works without vibration

In the base plate with dimensions 25,5 x 22,5 cm there are mounting holes. You let the screws in and attach the sharpener permanently to the workbench.
