- TYPE B (OFFERED AT THIS AUCTION): The battery is screwed onto the screw in the back of the handle (it has a characteristic "ear" with a screw hole).
- TYPE A (NOT FIT): Battery removed with button/snap (without mounting screw).
❌ DOES NOT FIT MODELS:
- Models DC31, DC34, DC35 in Type A version (with latch/button).
- Newer series: Dyson V6, V7, V8, V10, V11, V12, V15 (have a completely different shape of housing and contacts).
