However, if you are a person who consciously shopping, values food quality and has your own preferences for the thickness of a slice of bread or a slice of ham, then you will certainly appreciate the advantages of the FMS501 electric slicer by Blaupunkt.

The most important element of the slicer is a rotary knife with a diameter of 17 cm, made of high-quality stainless steel. Equally important is the cast aluminum setter, which adjusts the thickness of the patches while maintaining a stable angle with clearance, as well as a removable trolley for easy insertion of products under the knife.

In the stable aluminum base of the slicer, grooves for driving the trolley are placed on the sides. This treatment allowed to minimize the number of crumbs that can collect in them during cutting and at the same time facilitates their cleaning.

The set also includes a pusher, which helps to precisely cut products and protects your fingers from the knife blade and a tray for slices and crumbs.

The stroller, pusher and tray are made of plastic that is safe for health. Both of these elements can be easily removed from the slicer and washed under running water.

The FMS501 allows you to cut products in a wide range – from less than 1 mm to as much as 20 mm. Smooth adjustment of the thickness of the slices is enabled by a convenient knob located on the back of the setter, with a clear graduation, thanks to which we can be sure that the device will cut bread, cheese or cold cuts into such slices as we need at the moment.

The safety and stability of the device during operation are ensured by non-slip feet, knife guard and pulse mode (the device works only with the switch pressed). For advanced users, the convenience will be continuous operation mode, during which it is not necessary to hold the switch pressed.

The slicer housing also features a power cord storage compartment, where you can slide excess cord into and hide it for convenience and aesthetics of your worktop.

The slicer knife can be replaced. The manufacturer offers both smooth and serrated knives (smooth knife – accessory with the symbol ACC037 and serrated knife – accessory with the symbol ACC038).
