This is a guarantee that the weld will hold like a factory (the so-called. the nucleus of the weld), and not just superficially "sticked". Since the MONO SPOT 150 is a manual device, the weld quality depends on the operator's technique. Here's the recipe for success:

STEP 1: CLEANLINESS. Clean the contact point down to "bare metal." Rust, paint, and grease are insulators – if you don't remove them, the weld will be weak.

STEP 2: POSITIONING. Align the metal sheets evenly, without gaps.

STEP 3: PRESSURE FIRST. Squeeze the handle firmly. Only when the electrodes securely hold the metal sheet should you turn on the current. Never turn on the current in the air!

STEP 4: WELDING. Activate the button. The 3800A current will heat the contact point. You choose the time based on feel (usually a fraction of a second for thin sheets, up to 1-2 seconds for thick ones).

STEP 5: HOLDING (A PRO'S SECRET!). After releasing the current button, do not release the pressure lever for another 2-3 seconds. The molten metal must cool and solidify under pressure. This guarantees the durability of the joint.
