The presented device can also be successfully used as a basic source of heat in heating systems.

HOW ELECTRIC AIR CURTAINS WORK

Like all air curtains, electric air curtains protect against heat, cold, and contaminants, providing a reliable way to maintain thermal comfort while saving energy.

The operating principle of an electric air curtain is simple. Fans inside the unit generate an air stream that is forced through a specially designed air outlet. The Sonniger Guard air curtain also features a heating element (heat exchanger), which is an electric heater equipped with intelligent PTC heating elements. Internal air is drawn in by the fan and then heated by the heater, after which it is blown into the room at high speed. The appropriate speed of the blown air creates an effective barrier against outside air.

Regardless of the type you choose, an air curtain will work effectively in both winter and summer. Their use is a fantastic way to maintain the proper temperature (high or low) in a building. By blowing air, it creates a special barrier designed to cut off air exchange between two spaces with opposing temperatures. In winter, when it is freezing cold outside and warm inside, the stream of air produced by the heater prevents heat from escaping the building, thereby reducing heat loss and allowing for significant reductions in heating costs. In summer, the air curtain creates a barrier preventing warm air from outside the building from entering its cooled interior.

When purchasing a product, it is possible to replace horizontal mounting brackets with vertical mounting brackets. Remember to properly install the electric air curtain, as well as choose the right heating power of the device, which will result in its proper and effective operation.
