How does the Dogtrace invisible fence work?

The system consists of a transmitter, a receiver (collar) and a cable acting as an antenna. Installation is simple – just lay the cable around the property, bury it in the ground (up to 10 cm), hang it on a fence or spread it on the ground surface.

Operation of the system:

1. Warning zone – the dog hears an intermittent beep as it approaches the border.
2. Correction zone – if it does not respond, the collar emits an audible signal connected to the corrective pulse.

This combination allows the dog to quickly learn to associate the sound signal with the border, which results in safe movement in the designated zone.

Flexibility and fit

• The width of the warning and correction zones can be adjusted.
• You can adjust the strength of the corrective impulse to the temperament of the dog.
• The system will handle any number of dogs – just buy additional dog collars.

Installation and requirements

For the system to work properly, the cable must form a closed loop connected to the transmitter. The length and thickness of the cable is selected according to the size of the terrain:

• up to 400 m – 0,75 mm²,
• 400 – 600 m – 1 mm²,
• 600 – 900 m – 1,5 mm²,
• 900 – 2200 m – 2,5 mm².

Model 202/2002 is sold without cable – the cable can be purchased separately, e.g. in rolls of 100 m.
