5. Before replacing the blades or proceeding with any repairs or adjustment of the planer, remember to disconnect the power supply.

6. Before using the planer, check that the mounting screws are tightened.

7. Before connecting the device to the power supply, make sure that the switch is in the off position to avoid accidental start-up.
