It is recommended to use seawater before using a nasal aspirator.

Before starting to suction the secretion, a few drops of seawater or saline should be dropped into the baby's nose.

Usage:

1. Instill 2 to 3 drops of seawater into each nostril.
2. Wait about 30 to 60 seconds for the secretion to soften.
3. Gently use an aspirator to remove secretions.
