Method of use
- Thin the discharge in the nose by applying a solution of saline or seawater to the baby's nose.
- Attach the selected tip to the aspirator. The tip should fit perfectly into the device housing.
The tip with a wider opening is recommended in a situation where the secretion is more compact. The tip with a narrower hole is recommended for more liquid secretions.
- Press the POWER button to activate the suction function.
- Before placing the tip in the nostril, make sure that the device is working properly.
- The child should be in an upright position - standing or sitting. It should take a few seconds to suction the secretion.
- Repeat the steps in the second nostril.
- It is also worth taking care of proper hydration of the air in the child's room (e.g. using air humidifiers) and apply moisturizing ointments to the skin around the nose to prevent irritation.
