Attention! Before the first use of a leather grinding wheel, its maintenance with mineral oil is required. Such oil is not included in the scope of delivery. For this purpose, mineral oils available on the market can be used, e.g. machine oil for sewing machines, any other mineral oil or baby oil.

Additional information

✔ Should water be left in a container?

After finishing work, pour water from the container, otherwise the stone will soften and be poorly balanced. The stone is designed for wet sharpening, but it should remain dry when not in use.

✔ Is the sharpening machine designed for continuous operation?

WG series sharpening machines are not designed for continuous operation. The manufacturer recommends sharpening in cycles: 30 min work, 10 min break.

✔ Can you sharpen "from the hand"?

Yes, sharpening "from the hand" is possible, although for beginners it is recommended to use dedicated attachments.
