The entire menu is available in Polish, which makes the operation of the device very simple.

✓ In July 2025 a refreshed version of this model was launched – POLARIS FastBLOW. The most important novelty is the screening mode (mouthless), which allows you to quickly check the presence of alcohol in the exhaled air without the need for a standard mouthpiece.

✓ In screening mode, the device informs the user about the result in the form of a message:

• OK – no alcohol
• OK – low alcohol level (below the alarm threshold)
• ALCOHOL! – exceeded alarm threshold

NEW FUNCTION

• The device enables work in active (mouthpiece) and passive mode, which allows you to perform quick screening tests. This allows you to reduce contact with the mouthpiece and increase test hygiene.

Electrochemical sensor

• The device uses the platinum electrochemical sensor DAS-15, which provides accurate measurements in the range of up to 5,000 ‰.

Display

• The large and easy-to-read display and fast measurement time make the test convenient and only last a moment. The measuring range is 0,00 – 5,00‰.

Menu in Polish

• The breathalyzer has a fully polish menu and many configuration options, such as: changing the language, measurement units, adjusting the brightness of the screen and volume, setting the date and time, measuring counter, calibration reminder or setting the alarm level.

Measurement memory

• The breathalyzer has a built-in memory to save 12 000 measurements, which can be read together with the test number, date and time. It also has a graphical memory of the last 10 measurements.

Calibration

• It is recommended to calibrate the breathalyzer once every 12 months or after 2000 mouthpiece measurements. It is worth noting that only measurements made with the mouthpiece are included in this limit. Butterfly measurements (using a funnel) are not counted to the limit and can be performed in any quantity during the year.

✓ Each breathalyzer is calibrated using a professional ALCOSIM exhaust simulator and a properly selected alcoholic reference solution. The device simulates exhaled air containing a strictly defined concentration of alcohol, which allows precise adjustment of breathalyzer indications.

✓ During calibration, the temperature of the standard solution is stabilised at 34°C with an accuracy of ±0,02°C. This guarantees reproducible test conditions and reliability of the results obtained.
