Its design uses an electrochemical sensor – the same one used in police devices. This ensures accurate measurement and safety. ATTENTION:

The function of this device is only to indicate the probable concentration of alcohol in the exhaled air. The result of the test should not be treated as an indisputable determinant determining the possibility of safe driving, operating equipment or performing other dangerous activities

To avoid calibration, the breathalyzer should be checked at the earliest after a minimum of 30 minutes after alcohol consumption.

30 MINUTES BEFORE MEASUREMENT

Wait at least 30 minutes before starting the test

after the last alcohol consumption. Rinse your mouth with water before you take the test.

During these fifteen minutes, do not drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes.

If you consume alcohol or do not rinse your mouth, the test result may be artificially inflated, this will be the result of alcohol residue.

If you do not follow these recommendations, the test result may be incorrect, you may also damage the sensor.

To calibrate the breathalyzer, fill out the application form on the overmax website. In the description of the application, add the annotation “calibration”, and then send the breathalyzer to the indicated address of the manufacturer’s service.

Precise result

Only 5 seconds – this is how long it takes to prepare the Overmax AD-05 breathalyzer for the test and you also need 5 seconds to get the measurement.

The electrochemical sensor guarantees an accurate result (up to 0,07‰) in the range from 0,00 to 2,00‰.

After the characteristic sound signal, you can read the result.
