Product characteristics

• Complete 13-pin harness (ISO 11446)

  Ready-to-install electrical installation for cargo trailers with a GVW of more than 750 kg and caravans, tow trucks and bicycle racks equipped with a reversing light. For caravans, the harness supports a fixed plus and battery charging circuit, allowing you to power your on-board devices while stationary or driving.

• Factory connected wires to the socket

  All wires are already attached to the appropriate socket pins, which greatly facilitates installation and reduces its time.

• Increased cross-sections of power cables

  The harness equipped with four thicker wires (4 × 1,5 mm²) for constant power (pin 9), charging (pin 10) and mass (pins 11 and 13) circuits ensures reliable power supply to devices in the trailer.

• Support for reversing light

  Fully compatible with the 13-pin standard, allows you to connect the reversing light and additional functions, not available in the 7-pin version.

• Division of the beam into two sides + power supply

  The cables are conducted in three separate covers – left and right side of the vehicle and power cables:

  Left: left direction indicator, left position, fog, stop light,

  Right: right direction indicator, right position, reverse light, mass

  Power cables: constant plus, charging and two masses

• Individually insulated wires

Brief description

The 13-pin electrical harness is designed to connect the lighting system and trailer power supply circuits to the vehicle's electrical system. The kit includes a complete bundle with wires of 200 cm length, terminated with a trailer socket in 13-pin standard (ISO 11446).

Each cable has individual insulation, and the whole is divided into three separate sections in protective pellets, which facilitates installation and cleaning of cables.

The left side supports: left direction indicator, left position light, fog light and stop light.

The right side includes: right direction indicator, right position light, reversing light and mass.

The power section contains wires for a constant plus, charging the trailer battery and additional masses, made in an increased cross-section of 1,5 mm² to ensure a stable current flow.

Wire Fastening

An additional advantage is that the wires are already factory attached to the socket, which significantly reduces the assembly time and eliminates the risk of misconnection of pins. Thanks to this, the installation is quick, intuitive and does not require specialized tools. The kit is complemented by quick couplers, mounting hardware, and clamp ties, which allow for safe and aesthetically pleasing beam guidance in your vehicle.

Application in vehicles

The electrical harness without module is designed for vehicles where it is possible to directly connect the trailer installation to the factory lighting system of the car. This solution works well in older vehicles, not equipped with a CAN bus and electronic light control modules monitoring the load on bulb circuits.

Purpose of 13-pin beam

The 13-pin harness is used to handle full lighting and power of car trailers, including cargo trailers with a permissible gross weight of over 750 kg, tow trucks, bicycle racks and caravans. The 13-pin standard (ISO 11446) provides extended functionality compared to the 7-pin version – it supports a reversing light, a fixed plus and a battery charging circuit in the trailer.

Construction and construction

The beam consists of twelve copper conductors, individually insulated with a colored PVC sheath. Each of the three sections of the beam – left, right and power – is conducted in a separate protective cover (peszel), protecting the wires from mechanical damage, dirt and moisture. The use of triple cable routing (left/right/power supply) facilitates installation and allows for aesthetic adjustment to the vehicle structure.

13-pin socket (ISO 11446)

Made of weather-resistant plastic, it provides a secure electrical connection to the trailer plug and protects the contacts from corrosion and moisture. The socket is accompanied by a gasket under the socket, which additionally secures the connection from the body side. The 13-pin standard allows you to provide full lighting (including reversing lights) and power circuits. The socket provides lighting support:

Quick couplers – easy and safe installation

The use of quick couplers (clamp connectors) enables quick, durable and safe connection of wiring harnesses to the electrical system of the vehicle – without the need for soldering, stripping insulation or cutting wires.

Installation is extremely simple and does not require specialized tools. This solution ensures a stable electrical contact, protects the connection from loosening and significantly reduces the installation time of the entire beam. In addition, quick couplers allow you to perform the installation without permanent interference with the original wiring harness, making the installation aesthetically pleasing, reversible and safe.

Assembly instructions

The set comes with multilingual assembly instructions with illustrations and a clear description of the pins, functions, and colors of the wires.

• Do not run wires near the silencer/exhaust system or suspension components.
• In places where you go through the sheet metal, use edge protection (e.g. rubber grommet).
• After installation, perform a visual inspection of whether the cables are not stretched and whether the bands do not crush the wires.

Action control

• Check all lighting functions with connected trailer or 13-pin tester: turn signals, positions, STOP, fog, reversing, fixed plus and charging circuit (if connected).
• Make sure the socket is stable, the gasket adheres well, and the bundle is securely fixed.
