Pontec PondoVario 2500 fountain pump for pond water with power 40 W provides a maximum capacity of 2500 l/h. The pump has two outputs (t-shirt with mechanical regulation of water flow) -the first (side) output can be used to power a small stream or filter,while the second output can be used to create a fountain (includes 4 fountain nozzles).

Fountain pump with attractive water effects

Pontec PondoVario 2500 is equipped with 4 nozzles with different water effects – volcano, stream, bell and cup. The kit includes two extension tubes for the fountain that allow you to adjust the height. They are connected to the pump using a special tee with a spherical joint, which has a side outlet with a diameter of 9 mm. This means that when using the PondoVario 2500 with a fountain nozzle, you will use an additional output to drive the filter, cascade or stream. Thanks to the mechanical regulation of water flow on the opposite side of the spherical joint, you can decide whether greater efficiency is to be assigned to the fountain or to power other garden equipment or accessories.

Energy-saving for pond pump

Pontec PondoVario 2500 pump is made of high-quality plastic. Its design allows it to operate continuously under the water surface. The pump is equipped with an efficient 40 W motor, with which the water flow can reach up to 2,500 liters per hour . The protective pump basket allows the PondoVario to operate in dirty ponds without the risk of the impeller stopping and seizing.

The PondoVario 2500 fountain pump is easy to install, operate and maintain . Additionally, the device has a long power cable (10 m), so you don't have to buy expensive extension cords. The pump cannot run dry , so a special thermal switch is installed to protect the electronics against overheating and damage.

Optional use of the pump without tee and fountain tips

With Pontec PondoVario set, you can create an attractive fountain in your pond, and thanks to the side outlet in the ball joint, you can also supply power to filters, cascades, streams or other garden accessories. It is also possible to use the pump without a T-piece - instead, you can use a 3-stage connector and connect a hose with a diameter of 13, 19, 25 mm to it, this way you can use the pump to power a filter, stream or cascade.

Water column lifting height and efficiency

The pump performance and water lifting height have mutual influence. This translates into a change in the values declared by the manufacturer for each of the parameters. In practice - if the water is to be raised to e.g. 1 m, this will reduce the pump capacity accordingly.

The circumstances affecting both parameters shall be specified:

• Pump load
• Dirty prefilter or pump
• Connection to the side output of the fountain fitting of other devices, such as filter, cascade, stream
• Unrealistic User Expectations

The lifting height is always calculated from the water level. In addition, it is affected by the diameter of the hose and nozzle and the lack of additional pump loads. If the purpose is the efficiency of water flow to the filter, the pump should be relieved by redirecting the full capacity to the filter.
