Water is a complex living environment, it is an excellent solvent, which can contain various, often undesirable substances. In addition, too high nitrogen and phosphorus content in water causes algae invasions that reduce its quality. That is why proper water filtration is so important, not only mechanical, but also chemical. Oase is a company specializing in the production of world-famous pond equipment.

The Oase AquaActiv PhosLess Refill Pack kit contains two bags of chemical filtration media, designed to complement AquaActiv PhosLess baskets. These are two filter cartridges based on natural minerals, acting as absorbents of harmful substances found in water. PhosLess CA is a white, porous mineral containing calcium. PhosLess FS, on the other hand, is a brown, granular mineral that contains iron. They perfectly bind phosphates, sulfides and harmful heavy metals such as lead, copper or zinc in the water. This bond is durable, so there is no fear that these compounds will go back into the water. By removing one of the two most important nutrients of algae - phosphates, they significantly limit the development of these unwanted organisms. One set of PhosLess Refill Pack removes up to 50 g of phosphorus from the water. There is an amount that provides food for algae with a dry weight of up to 5 kg.

These cartridges work immediately and effectively, so you can see the effects of their action in a very short time. They will improve water quality by removing heavy metals harmful to most organisms. They limit the growth of algae, giving the effect of clean and healthy water, so you will be able to admire the inhabitants of your pond without any obstacles.

PhosLess Refill Pack is a replacement cartridge dedicated to the original PhosLess baskets. However, you can also use them in filters and in such a place in the pond that ensures good water circulation. This allows you to enjoy high water quality no matter what type of filter you use. These cartridges are enough to purify the water in tanks without fish with a capacity of 40 m3. In ponds with fish, a single set is enough for 10 m3.
