Fast and precise autofocus Phase Hybrid AF
The new phase-detection autofocus system (Phase Hybrid AF) ensures fast and precise focusing even in demanding conditions. The camera effectively tracks moving objects, recognizes people and maintains focus when shooting and filming, even in low light or strong light from behind.
Active I.S. – image stabilization during movement
Advanced Active I.S. technology effectively reduces camera shake when shooting and recording from your hand. The system analyzes camera movement and automatically adjusts the stabilization level, offering up to about 200% more efficiency compared to the LUMIX S5*. This allows you to record smooth shots freely even when walking.

Unlimited 10-bit C4K/4K recording
Panasonic LUMIX S5II allows you to record 10-bit 4:2:2 C4K/4K 60p/50p video without recording time limit*. The new heat dissipation system with active cooling allows for long-term operation even when recording high-resolution materials with high frame rates.
* Limitations may occur when operating outside the recommended temperature range or in selected 6K and 5.9K recording modes.

The new image processor and full-frame sensor provide realistic color reproduction, high detail and natural image plasticity. Dual Native ISO technology effectively reduces noise at high ISO values, maintaining a large amount of detail also in darker parts of the frame.
REAL TIME LUT – creative effects without a computer
REAL TIME LUT allows you to save photos and videos using your own LUT tables directly on the camera. Thanks to this, you can get a professional look of materials already during recording, without the need for subsequent processing in specialized software.
