CANON RF 100-500 F4.5-7.1L IS USM

PURPOSE

Canon RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1L IS USM is a super-telephoto lens that offers the highest quality of nature and sports photography. This is another representative of RF telephoto lenses from the legendary L series family, which is characterized by advanced optics, which consists of Super US and UD elements and ASC coatings, designed to provide unparalleled contrast and sharpness. The L series is also robust and resistant to all weather conditions, such as moisture or high temperatures. This lens is equipped with a stabilization system (5-person) and two super-fast Nano USM motors, thanks to which focusing is instantaneous, smooth and almost silent. It's the perfect lens for sports, dynamic events, and wildlife. Despite these amenities and long focal lengths, this lens retains its compact size and low weight. What’s more, it is compatible with 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters, thanks to which you can further extend the focal length.

LARGE FOCAL RANGE

The focal length of 100-500 mm allows you to take photos from a distance. It is an ideal solution for sports, nature or mountain landscape photography. RF 100-500 is fully compatible with 1,4x and 2x converters, thanks to which you can further increase the range of this Lens.

QUALITY OF SERIES L

The legendary L series is known primarily for its high-end optics. RF 100-500 has a Super UD lens and six UD elements, thanks to which the image quality is at a very high level throughout the focal range. The build quality is also top notch. The entire structure has been sealed, which prevents the penetration of dust and moisture and a special protective coating has been used for its construction, which ensures high durability of this lens.

IMAGE STABILIZATION

An additional advantage of Canon RF 100-500 is a 5-stage image stabilizer, which eliminates the effects of camera vibrations. This system, combined with the matrix stabilization of the Canon R5 and R6, increases its efficiency up to 8-degrees.

LIGHT AND COMPACT

RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1L IS USM lens is not only great picture quality and workmanship, but also compact size and low weight. This telephoto lens weighs only 1365 grams (without tripod mount) and when removed, its length is only 207 mm. This makes it one of the lightest full-frame lenses with such a focal range on the market.

TWO AUTOFOCUS ENGINES

To increase the speed and smoothness of focusing, two supersonic Nano USM motors were used here. Their work is almost silent. The minimum focusing distance is only 0,9 m.

PROGRAMMABLE RING

An additional ring placed on the lens allows you to change selected camera settings, such as aperture or exposure time, without taking your hands off. This allows you to focus solely on the staff.
